Most of us receive shipped goods to our homes on a regular basis (probably more this year than last), and unfortunately, at least 23 million Americans have had those packages stolen. Now, more than ever, it is important to protect your packages. That’s where the Package Guard steps in.
How It Works
"In today’s marketplace, products are designed to link-up, sync-to, merge-with your lifestyle devices. This process is not always user-friendly. In just 5 minutes, you can unbox, connect and activate Package Guard. It is the easiest way to protect your deliveries."
Package Guard is a Frisbee sized, Wi-Fi-enabled device that alerts you when a package has been delivered to your house. More importantly, Package Guard sets off a loud alarm if anyone unauthorized tries to steal the package.
The Package Guard automatically notifies you via email, text, or app notification when your packages have been placed and/or moved. The Package Guard can even notify other people, like your neighbors, in the event the alarm goes off.
The Package Guard is simple to set up. It runs off of 4 AA batteries, and will operate for about 6 months before needing to change them. And with its water-sealed design, you don’t have to worry about moving the device during rainy (we started in Seattle) or harsh weather.
The Package Guard is able to hold up to 200lbs of weight, and can can easily hold multiple stacked packages. You get a notification when each package is stacked on top. It will also know if only a one lb package is placed on it.
The device can easily be fastened to your porch or deck by using the adhesive pads on the bottom of the unit. We have also designed the Package Guard to trigger an alarm if a thief attempts to steal your device (darn porch pirates) or your packages, ensuring your goods and Package Guard don’t go anywhere. And a bonus you can get a Yard Sign.
